Romanian land forces soldiers from 191st Infantry Battalion “Colonel Radu Golescu” from Arad continue training with soldiers from Czech Republic, Croatia, Great Britain, Poland, Slovakia, and United States of America.
On the night 16th/17th of July, in Râureni, Vâlcea, 400 Romanian soldiers form the Multinational Brigade South-East and 10th Engineer Brigade, together with 1,000 US, 130 Polish, 150 German, 45 Dutch, 40 Macedonian, 30 Slovenian, 35 Lithuanian and 10 British soldiers executed complex combat actions while tactical river crossing over Olt river.
Exceptional represetantion of the Romanian soldiers with the Allied and partner nations at the river crossing exercise during Saber Guardian 17. The exercise took place near Borduşani, Romania. Romanian Armored vehicles and US Strykers made their way across a pontoon bridge constructed by Romanian engineers. The exercise started with aviation assets providing air support, as well as Naval vessels providing cover fire in the river. Once the far side of the river was suppressed the vehicles convoyed across the floating bridge to continue on with their exercise.
